Youth Playwrights Win Big at DCPA

More evidence that Smart is Cool: The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) announced today three finalists for the inaugural Regional Youth Playwriting Workshop and Competition for Colorado high school students. Finalists Victoria Capraro (Denver School of the Arts), Jack Fletcher (East High School) and Laurain Park (Alexander Dawson High School) will receive a $250 cash scholarship, a staged reading at the 2014 Colorado New Play Summit and a complimentary pass to any reading or production at the Summit. Playwriting Workshop and Competition

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is launching a new playwriting initiative for Colorado high school students in the fall of 2013! The program will begin in late September and will accept one-act play submissions from October 1 through December 1.
