Beyond our powerful in-school programs and fun-filled Get Your Nerd On Day events, one of The Big Brain Club’s most popular offerings has been the Food For Thought program.
If you aren’t familiar, here’s the gist: we partner with popular Denver-area restaurants to offer you great deals on great meals — with proceeds benefiting our school programs. Everybody wins!
Well, we’re thrilled to announce that our current Food For Thought partner is La Sandia — one of celebrity chef Richard Sandoval’s rapidly-growing Denver hotspots. Sandoval is internationally recognized as the Father of Modern Mexican Cuisine, and Colorado foodies know him as the man behind not just La Sandia, but also local favorites Tamayo, Zengo, and La Biblioteca.
In other words: you’re in for a major treat.
Here’s the deal: You get mouth-watering four-course meals for two people — including appetizer, dessert, your choice of entree, and their famous, freshly-made table-side guacamole — all for just $44.95 per couple.
What an amazingly good deal, right?

Last year’s Food For Thought partnership with La Sandia resulted in an all-time high of nearly $5,000 to support our school programs! Come and help us set a new record (while getting an incredible meal in the process). This offer is good throughout October and November.
La Sandia has two convenient locations in metro Denver: one at Park Meadows, and another at Northfield Stapleton. If you call ahead to make reservations, be sure to tell them that you’re coming to support Food For Thought and The Big Brain Club!
